Membership in the German Society for the Exploration of Palestine begins with the calendar year (also retroactively). The membership fee is 50.00 € and includes the subscription of the journal ‘Zeitschrift des Deutschen Palästina-Vereins’ (couples pay a joint membership fee of € 60.00 if they wish to receive only one journal). Students are eligible for a period of max. five years to get a reduced membership fee of 20.00 € . They have to document their status as enrolled students when applying for membership by appropriate official documents to be sent to the treasurer.
